Brussels. Professor Erica Villa, Director of the Complex Structure of Gastroenterology of the Polytechnic of Modena and Professor at Unimore (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), was invited to the European Parliament in Brussels to take part in the round table “Towards a gender sensitive Medicine: issues, tools and policies. Good Practices from Italy and Germany “, scheduled for Tuesday 27 June given her special expertise in the field of hepathology. The aim of the initiative is to discuss the steps needed to spread gender culture in medicine and health policies in the Member States of the European Union. The leading representatives of public and academic authorities across the continent will be confronted to best evaluate and strengthen the actions that Europe can put in place to generate more focus on the specific health conditions of men and women.
