Tunis – The Italian Institute of Culture and the Italian Embassy to Tunis renew their traditional collaboration with the 32nd El Jem International Symphonic Music Festival by presenting a tribute to Lucian Pavarotti of the Opera Orchestra next Saturday in the charming Roman amphitheater of El Jem (the small Colosseum). The event, designed to celebrate a decade since Pavarotti’s passing in a very country he loved very much, opens the Festival and is realised thanks to the collaboration of the Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti and to the support of the Tunisian Ministries of Culture and Tourism. There will be a performance of the most renowned Italian opera arias, performed by the great Pavarotti, sung by soloists of the Italian Opera. The El Jem International Symphonic Music Festival, which has become a cultural event for music lovers in Tunisia, also attracts many foreign tourists and will continue with various concerts until August 12th.
