(August 25, 2017) The Internet allows the creation of new scenarios in the audiovisual field: more and more young directors produce independent series and publish them exclusively on the web. The Hamburg International Web-Series Festival – organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of the Hanseatic City – celebrates its second edition in 2017, offering it as a meeting place for producers and public, institutions and experts. Scheduled web series projections from around the world, round tables, prizes, music and parties. Italy is one of the protagonists of the current Wendie Webfest, given the particularly flourishing production of Italian webseries. Guests from Italy will be Christiano Bolla (Sicily Web Fest), Chiara Bressa (Blog World Wide Webserie) and Italian director Michele Pinto (“Project M”). Various Italian productions will also be screened. (Red)
