Norman – “A multi-species synthesis of physiological mechanisms in drought-induced tree mortality”, conducted by a group of international researchers led by Professor Henry Adams of Oklahoma State University, USA, in which was present Professor Francesco Ripullone from University of Basilicata. The Unibas Consortium of the University of Basilicata explains that the study summarizes the results of numerous experiments on tree species belonging to different taxa and biomes, with the aim of answering some questions about the causes and about the mechanisms that induce forests to mortality.
