(22 September, 21017) The Marseille International Fair (until October 2nd) represents craftsmanship and gastronomy. It is most important trade event in the Euro-Mediterranean basin and the second most important fair in France after Paris, and also represents a means of promoting Italy and highlighting unique and traditional products. It is a unique opportunity for small businesses to meet the French public who appreciate quality, style, and the great food tradition of Italy. The event does not only consist of tastings. It is also an opportunity to meet and discuss and is a space for cultural activities such as exhibitions, music performances, and other activities. The Italian Institute of Culture is the protagonist in the Italian Pavilion set up by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Marseille. The IIC will present a preview of the photo exhibition “Islands, Winter Borders” by Federica Di Giovanni, realised in collaboration with Studio Marangoni of Florence, which will open at the Institute in October, as part of the Photography exhibition “La Photographie Marseille # 7”. Then it is the turn of iterature: Tuesday 26 September at 11:00 will be a talk with author Stefania Nardini. (Red)
