San Diego. The Scientific Contribution “Low-cost Smart Energy Management based on Atmega 328P-PU Microcontroller”, conducted by a group of researchers from the University of Palermo, was awarded with “Best Poster Award” at the “Award Ceremony” and was presented by Fabio Viola, a UniPa researcher, during the Poster Presentation of the 6th International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Application Conference – ICRERA 2017. The study was conducted in collaboration with Andrea Del Pizzo from the Federico II University of Naples and Mauricio Salles from the University of São Paulo. The scientific acknowledgment was conferred by an international committee chaired by the General Chair of the Yosuf Ozturk Conference at the University of San Diego. Special thanks were given to Professor Rosario Miceli, as representative of the Rector of the University of Palermo, for the technical support offered from the University of Palermo at the International Conference held in San Diego.
