Miami. Fabio De Furia, president of the Miami Scientific Italian Community joins the board of two committees – “Creative Design” and “Life Sciences” – of the Beacon Council Miami-Dade County’s Official Economic Partnership. “It is a great personal satisfaction to be able to become part of an institution so important in the area and that represents a professional recognition that rewards the efforts made in recent years to promote Made in Italy innovation and technology”, stated De Furia. “To re-launch and promote the entire productive ecosystem of the territory, it is necessary to have a growth support strategy that stimulates aggregation, increasing productivity and competitiveness, reuniting all the actors involved in the development process such as Institutions, Research Institutes, Universities, and Companies. In this sense, the Italian System, represents a natural facilitator in support of the processes of technology transfer, internationalisation, and access to credit, able to help our scientific and technical excellence to compete globally “.
