Istanbul, August 20. The exhibition “Mediterraneo” by Mimmo Jodice will be on display until August 31st. It was organised by the Italian Institute of Culture, the Italian Consulate General and the Archaeological Museums of Istanbul in the Assos Gallery of the Archaeological Museums of Istanbul. The exhibition showcases forty works created strictly in black and white in the 1990s through which the artist – one of the greatest contemporary photographers – leads us through a journey based on myth, memory, culture, and landscape of the great civilizations that have populated the Mediterranean basin.
