Hanoi – Approaching the end of her mission in Vietnam, Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni has started a series of farewell meetings with the highest offices in the Vietnamese State. The Minister of Justice, Le Thanh Long has, first of all, praised the results achieved in recent years in terms of collaboration between the Ministries of our countries, among which was the visit to Vietnam by the former Minister, Andrea Orlando, and the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation. He then conferred on the Ambassador the “Medal for the contribution to the development of justice”. The Hanoi Communist Party Secretary, Hoang Trung Hai and Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung praised efforts made in recent years to strengthen the collaboration between the city of Hanoi and the regional and metropolitan areas of Italy. It has been a collaboration that has opened up new opportunities in many sectors and has created a privileged relationship between our country and the Vietnamese capital, always ready to support numerous promotional initiatives.
