Beirut – After the political awards recognitions by UNICEF, the UN, the European Commission and the President of the Italian Republic, and the artistic successes at major international festivals, the World Youth Orchestra continues its commitment to the dissemination, through music, of the ideals of brotherhood in territories touched by religious conflicts and with strong political and social difficulties. The Orchestra, a non-profit foundation – co-founded by La Sapienza, with the support of the Culture and Art Foundation – will kick off the musical tour of Suoni di fratellanza project on February 24th at the Al Bustana Festival in Beirut, which celebrates Italian music this year.
