(Apr. 16) – Another big result for Sardinian tourism. Starting from tomorros, at the Italian Institute of Culture of London, with the support of the ENIT, the Italian island will organize a workshop for touristic operators to promote the ‘Italian System’. The meeting, fifth of a series of events through which the ENIT led Sardinia to the most interesting tourist markets in Europe – will be participated by the best of Sardinian touristic operators. The ‘meeting industry’ will be also involved, along with other Italian sector, such as religious, educational, cultural and gastronomic tourism.
The United Kingdom, third among European countries for the incoming in Sardinia, is an important market who can produce more significant results thanks to the good flight connections, also with low cost. A strong increase is expected for 2012, compared to 65.000 arrivals and 300 thousand visitors already obtained in 2011. (Ram/Peg)
