Jan. 15 – In the framework of the Year of Italian Culture in Hungary, the Italian Cultural Institute of Budapest offers a new series of concerts – “Kamara & Music” – in collaboration with the Mav Orchestra of Budapest, dedicated to chamber music, the most popular and performed among various kinds of classical music. “Kamara & Music” is above all a “meeting” and an “exchange” enhancing Italian chamber music (less well known than other expressions of Italian music) and the high quality of the famous Hungarian orchestra. The cycle will start on Saturday, January 19 at 7pm in the Sala Verdi, and will continue in the following months for a total of four meetings. The program is rich and interesting, proposed by the soloists of the Mav, and almost entirely devoted to compositions by Arcangelo Corelli, Antonio Vivaldi, Rossini to Verdi, plus a special meeting dedicated to poetry and music in both Italian and Hungarian, with the participation of the actor Dániel Papp.
