May 22 – Bangkok is opening the doors to its 10th edition of “Thaifex – World of Food Asia 2013,” the great international exhibition dedicated to food and beverages, which includes an “Italian Area” and 100 Italian food companies. The Italian delegation was organized by Fiere di Parma, Federalimentare and Koelnmesse (also organizer of Anuga, the German leading fair on food and beverage). “Thaifex 2013” will also host the “Thai-Italian Networking Party,” scheduled for this evening. The organizers believe it will be the perfect opportunity to get a taste of Italian and Thai cultures. The Impact Exhibition Center will host 400 selected buyers and operators from the ASEAN area as well as national and international journalists, who will come into direct contact with Italian flavors and Italian companies. In the “Italian Area” lounge, there will be space to hold cooking shows and tastings. The Italian companies exhibiting are: Parmareggio, Pastificio La Molisana, Pastificio Granoro, Consorzio Mozzarella di Bufala, Consorzio Pomodoro San Marzano, Grissin Bon, Saclà, Acqua Minerale San Benedetto, Noberasco, Coppini, Caffè Trombetta, Consorzio del Casalasco.
