June 25 – ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, in collaboration with the ACIMAF Association, organized the collective participation of 36 Italian wire and fiber-optic cables machinery companies in the 2013 Wire Russia, to be held in Moscow from today until June 28. In conjunction with the exhibition, there will also be held the Metallurgy Litmash Russia, where ICE Agency, in collaboration with the Amafond Association, organized the collective participation of 18 companies in the foundry sector, thus significantly increasing the presence of mechanical sector operators. Wire Russia and Litmash and Metallurgy are devoted, respectively, to wire and cable machinery and to the field of machinery and equipment for metallurgy and foundry, both are organized by Messe Dusseldorf. Russia and the area of the Commonwealth of Independent States constitute an important and dynamic market, in which the development of the middle class and the consequent increase in demand for durable consumer goods resulted in a continuous impetus for the growth of the intermediate goods mechanical industry, particularly in automotive, construction, energy and telecommunications areas, traditional sectors for the wire and cable industry.
