Mar. 14 – Tuscia is preparing to take on foreign markets with its “Progetto Matricole.” The initiative, created the Viterbo Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Special Agency CeFAS, aims to promote the internationalization of local companies. Soon, companies that have never dealt with foreign markets, or only did so sporadically, will be selected alongside more experienced companies that wish to enter new markets or learn new exporting techniques. The project will: identify what are the obstacles that prevent small and medium-sized enterprises to fully embark on the paths of internationalization; understand the mechanisms that regulate its success; improve the business skills required for taking sound decisions and evaluating opportunities; promote trade relations with new markets through a series of targeted actions, such as promotional activities, seminars and training. “Internationalization – says Ferindo Palombella, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Viterbo – has long been one of our priorities, as today it is the only was to fight the decreases in consumption in our domestic markets. With this project, which in past years has had a significant number of participants, we want to encourage and support entrepreneurs entering foreign markets – where our products can certainly stand out well.”
