Apr. 2 – Piedmont’s industries have five days to present themselves to the German and American markets; five days filled with events and meetings to show their best in the field of mechanic automation and vehicle engineering. The Piedmont sector will attend, April 7-11, Hannovermesse, the international fair for industrial technologies. At the same time, other Piedmont companies will att the Detroit Sae World Congress, the international event dedicated to car engineering. “Events such as these are important for our companies: Sae brings together the international excellences of the car industry, while Hannovermesse brings together those of industrial technologies – says Roberto Cota, President of the Region – these events can allow our system to become more present on the international scene, which is exactly what our internationalization strategy seeks to do.” “While the event in Detroit will focus on the technical and technological evolutions occuring within the car industry, the European scene centers around integrated industries – explains Giuseppe Donato, president of the Centro Estero per l’Internazionalizzazione (Ceipiemonte) – to remain competitive, our companies must become more efficient in their use of resources, as well as more in line with the production life-cycles and the market evolutions currently under way. The winning strategy for the coming years is to favour sectoral integration within the industry.”
