London – An elaboration by the Research Department of the Chamber of Commerce of Monza and Brianza Coeweb on Istat data shows that Italian exports of non-traditional Italian products exceed Italy’s imports of the same products: Italy exports beer to the UK for a value of over €40 million, compared to the €23 million imported. Always to the UK, Italy exports €52 million worth of tea. Italy then exports to Switzerland Swiss knives for a value of nearly €3 million, 10 times more than it imports. Exports of Italian furniture (€8.5 million) exceed furniture imports from Sweden (€4.6 million). Finally, Italian potato exports to Germany are worth €2 million more than Italy’s imports. (9Colonne)
