Shanxi – The Region of Umbria has accepted an invitation by the Shanxi Province to plan a mission aimed at the institutional and technical assessment of establishing an operational collaboration between the two regions. The purpose of the visit to China will be to evaluate the possibility of exchanging technical and training support for the conservation, protection, restoration and enhancement of cultural heritage. “The Shanxi Province and Shanxi Museum – explained the representatives of the region – have an enormous cultural heritage between works, artefacts and buildings. This is a great opportunity to protect said heritage via a collaboration with a country that has a long-standing tradition in the field.” (9Colonne)
