Kiev – July 1, at 7pm, the National Opera of Ukraine in Kiev will host a concert to inaugurate the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The gala, sponsored by the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute in Kiev and the National Opera of Ukraine, will see the participation of Italian and Ukrainian artists as well as the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and the Choir of the National Opera of Ukraine, conducted by Maestro Francesco Maria Colombo. The gala will be a mosaic of the Italian music scene in its various forms: opera, symphonic, instrumental, choral, classical and contemporary. (9Colonne)
