Munich – After the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, “The Wonders” by Alice Rohrwacher won another important international award, the Cinevision Award as emergin director of the year at the Festival of Monaco. The award is endowed with 12,000 euros made available by the German distribution company Senator Filmverleih. The international jury of German screenwriter and director Pia Marais, Tribeca Film Festival Artistic Director Frederic Boyer and producer Titus Kreyenberg awarded the prize for the following reasons: “The film has everything we love in movie: an unmistakable style, amazing events and a terrific cast.” “The Wonders” is distributed in Germany by Delphi Filmverleih.
