Tirana – The first Balkan capital to host “Coexistence” is Tirana, from August 1 to 24. The first of the five stages of the contemporary art exhibition “Art in Port – Coexistence: for a new Adriatic Koine” will run until March 2015, with artists from Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and Italy (Veneto and Puglia). The exhibition is part of the project “arTvision. A live art channel,” funded by the European Program IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007/2013. The aim is to connect and mobilize the creative energy of young artists; it is a pilot project led by the Puglia Region, with the technical support of the Film Commission. The exhibition will be held in different areas to affirm the concept of a new linguistic Koine that can translate territorial identities into new dynamics of openness and exchange. (9Colonne)
