New York – On Tuesday, the third volume of ” Storie di chi fugge e di chi resta” by Elena Ferrante will be released in the US. The literary phenomenon of the summer was introduced to the United States through an interview in Vogue and a long article on the Sunday edition of the New York Times. In the US, Ferrante is mainly famous for “I Giorni dell’Abbandono,” a profile of which appeared in the New Yorker two years ago. Once again, the author’s choice to remain anonymous inspired different articles entitled “Who is Elena Ferrante,” as the headline in the New York Times, or artistic picture of a woman dressed in blue with a hood on her head stained with paint, as depicted Time Magazine. The novelist has never been interviewed in person and has never appeared in public. (9Colonne)
