Stockholm – From Thursday, September 4, an Italian will be at the Stock Exchange in Stockholm. I Italeaf specializes in clean-tech and smart innovation, and has just bought a 54.8% share of Ternienergia, a renewable energy company. Stefano Neri is the president and principal shareholder of Italeaf, with a share of 52.1%, explained the move: “we are the first Italian company to land on the Swedish market, and we chose to do as much because of the higher attention of Nordic investors towards clean technologies, innovation and social responsibility. We also considered the growing interest with which Nasdaq OMX looks at expanding markets Europe, that are not yet fully appreciated in Italy. Finally, we chose to invest in Sweden to avoid any confusion between the Italeaf holding and TerniEnergia, which already operates in the Italian Stock Exchange.” (9Colonne)
