Almaty – Assocalzaturifici and The ICE Office in Almaty are getting ready for the Dom Priemov palace in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where they will set up an independent exhibition on Italian footwear. The festival is the only event dedicated to Italian footwear in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, yet some years ago it decided to welcome clothing and leather goods companies, to offer a “total look”. The synergy between Assocalzaturifici and ICE Almaty allowed the event to become a key trade show for Italian fashion. This was brought about through a series of collateral promotional activities, including bringing in buyer delegations, and hosting gala events with customers and the local press. (9Colonne)
