Sept. 23 – The Silk Road is a once again a solid reality in the relations between China and Veneto, thanks to quality food. To promote its products, the Veneto Region is in China with a business delegation led by Councilor Franco Manzano. The delegation is traveling to Beijing, Nanjing and Yancheng, where on Thursday the Agriexpo Agricultural Fair will kick off. The Veneto representatives will speak at the forum on “Agricultural Investment and International Trade.” Meanwhile, in the Chinese capital, Manzano and the Veneto delegation met with the Dean of the Department of Agriculture at Beijing Han Bei-zhong, with whom they discussed possible collaborations with the “Cerletti” Institute in Conegliano. Veneto began approaching the Chinese market in agribusiness relations over a year ago, with information sessions and training courses for businesses and entrepreneurs, organized in collaboration with the Italy-China Foundation and Ca ‘Foscari University.
