(Sept. 29) The Innotrans Berlin – the international exhibition of railway technology that took place in recent days in the German capital – has been the theater of the premiere of the Frecciarossa 1000. But not only. During the event, in fact, an agreement was signed between Italferr, engineering companies of the Italian FS Group, and Mermec, a group that develops integrated technology solutions for security management and improvement of rail networks. The agreement was formalized by Matteo Maria Triglia, CEO of Italferr, and Andrea Certo, CEO of Mermec, at the presence of Maurizio Lupi, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport. “Internationalization, expansion abd growth” are the main goals of the agreement, which aims to promote and market products and services, as part of the international rail markets, bringing together the technical and specialist skills of two Italian companies operating in the world”. “With this agreement,” said Triglia “we want to start a lively and fruitful collaboration through the sharing of valuable information related to common fields of action. Italferr has already an important leadership abroad with active contracts in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Africa, Turkey and Switzerland, and this collaboration with Mermec is equally important for our internationalization and, therefore, to that of the country.”
