Dar es Salaam – On the occasion of the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities,” which is celebrated today worldwide, the documentary film “Less is more” by director Luca Vasco will be screened simultaneously at the Lumière Cinema in Bologna, in other 30 theaters across Italy, Dar es Salaam and Innga as well as on Turkish Air flights. The documentary is a road movie that tells the 800 km trip on a hand bike made in 2013 by Norberto De Angelis (former football player now disabled) and a small caravan of friends. They traveled through Tanzania, a country where, as Paolo Chesani of Cefa Onlus – producer of the documentary – explained, “disability is experienced as an irretrievable misfortune, as a fault that forces the disabled to live in isolation and often in poverty.” (9colonne)
