Budapest – On Wednesday February 25, the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest hosts a meeting on “Literature and the Great War.” Jozsef Pal of the University of Szeged, Luigi Tassoni from the University of Pecs, and Aniko Fazsy, translator and editor in chief of the magazine Nagyvilag, will be present at the event, scheduled at 4pm. The meeting will be preceded by a screening of the documentary “Nationalism and Violence” (of the La Grande Guerra / La tragedia della modernità series produced by RAI) that describes the causes that led to the outbreak of the conflict and, in particular, the role of nationalism.
