Stockholm – The Millesgården Stockholm Museum inaugurated on September 16 the Pompeii exhibition that reproduces the luxurious domus of banker Caecilius Iucundus, thanks to an amazing reconstruction of the site in 3D. The exhibition, which will remain in Sweden until next May, includes objects loaned from Pompeii and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The exhibition focuses on different cultural aspects featured in Pompeii: the scientific aspect to answer the archaeological investigations currently underway; the human aspect, with special attention to the victims of the 79 AD vulcanic eruption; aesthetics, to give space to ancient artists and architects who found their inspiration in Pompeii; and the arts, which looks at the contemporary artists who also found their inspiration in Pompeii.
