Ho Chi Minh City – Coronet SpA, Italian synthetic leathers company, founded by Enrico De Marco in 1967, started production in its new Vietnamese plant, a $20 million totally self-financed project, as all investments by the group. By the end of its second development phase, the plant will reach a production area of 30,000 square meters. The new unit – located 100 km south of Ho Chi Minh City – is a twin of CoronetChina, founded in 2005. Key players in the development project in Vietnam were, in addition to the family De Marco, the CEO Jarno Tagliarini and Paolo Battilana, general manager of CoronetChina. In China, as in Vietnam, the Group is led by an Italian management. (9colonne)
