Beijing – China is increasingly interested in Puglia’s green economy. Ten Chinese operators are meeting companies, business networks, organizations and research institutions from the University of Bari and the Polytechnic University. The mission, organized by the Regional Economic Development, is part of the project activities for “Cigex – China-Italy Green Exchange 2013-2015” by the Italian Trade Agency, the Ministry of Economic Development and the regions of Puglia, Calabria, Emilia Romagna and Umbria. Puglia holds the Italian record for renewable energies, and nearly 21.000 companies have invested in green products and technologies. The objective of the incoming mission is to offer Puglia businesses participating in the project the opportunity to meet potential Chinese partners and initiate new business relationships.
