Ho Chi Minh City – Ho Chi Minh City is currently hosting “Shoes and Leather 2015”. In 2014, the value of Italian exports to Vietnam in the sector recorded €1.9 million for dyeing machines (+106% compared to 2013), €2.4 million for footwear machinery (+ 220%), €0.6 million for leather machinery (-36%). Thanks to the support of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade and Assomac, a group of Italian companies is taking part in Shoes and Leather 2015. The ongoing initiative aims to increase business opportunities for Italian companies through a qualified exposure of the technology sector, offering Italian companies the opportunity to meet a large number of potential customers.
