Pec – The Italian military contingent 132nd Reggimento Carri di Cordenons (PN), part of the KFOR Multinational Battle Group West, has made a donation of furniture, electronic devices and miscellaneous kitchen utensils in favor of “Malteser”, lthe international relief agency of the Sovereign Order of Malta. The association operates across the world, quickly and effectively distributing humanitarian aid to those in distress. It also provides emergency assistance to disaster-stricken areas, establishes and promotes nutrition programs, and ensures access to drinking water in the most difficult areas of the planet. The donations highlights once again Italy’s commitment in favor of the various organizations working in the area. The material was donated for use at the A.MI.Ko. airport of Gjacova / Dacovica, the former Italian military airport transferred to Kosovo institutions in 2013 after fourteen years. (9colonne)
