September 7th, 2015 – Italia Independent and Adidas announced they have signed an international agreement valid for the next four years. The Italian brand associated to Lapo Elkann will develop, produce and distribute Originals eyewear. The agreement was signed after the success of the eyewear collection inspired by the iconic Superstar sneaker, launched last year in March. The partnership is not limited to a simple license agreement, but is a partnership between two brands with the goal of creating an innovative business model. This bond is represented by the new “lock-up logo”, a symbol that combines the iconic Adidas trefoil Originals logo to that of Italia Independent.
