Baghdad – The Italian Development Cooperation is sponsoring the project “Technical assistance for the rehabilitation and management for Iraqi Cultural Heritage.” Launched in partnership with the Ministry of Heritage, Cultural Activities and Tourism (Mibact) and coordinated with Unesco, the project’s pilot phase consists in the creation of a geo-referenced database and he subsequent analysis of the state of archaeological sites and monuments struck by Daesh.
