Morocco is experiencing an exponential growth in the building industry that has become the engine of the economy. The increase in international trade and particularly the growing dynamism of tourism have boosted demand for new infrastructure and housing. The Arab country is going through the same development process as Italy in the 1960s, when the hunger for new buildings and infrastructure reflected the desire to give a new face to cities, and gave the impetus to the building industry, the main element of the economic boom.
