(January 5, 2016) After the applause, prizes and awards, a period abroad spent in Brussels, where she was trained and built up her performance portfolio, and on the road participating in prestigious festivals (from Padua to Bologna as well as Trento and Lucca), Giulia Facco is now ready to present her latest work. On January 8, “The Prophecy@ will be available in traditional stores, digital download and streaming on all platforms. Created for Emme Records Label, the new album features previously unreleased piano and musical pieces composed by Giulia Facco, flanked by Mirko Cisilino (trumpet), Davide Tardozzi (guitar), Riccardo Di Vinci (bass) and Enrico Smiderle (drums). “The Prophecy” is closely related to modal jazz and blues, but still maintains a personal review influenced by composers such as Wayne Shorter, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver and Enrico Pieranunzi. The goal of this project is to mix traditional echoes with modern elements, keeping a constant rhythmic energy that takes the listener on a musical journey of nuanced dream. (Red)
