(January 6, 2015) Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington are the main destinations of the institutional and study journey that on May 19-31 will bring the Department of Law, Economics and Cultures of the Insubria University in Como to the US. The trip was designed to promote the internationalization of the University, building contacts, signing agreements and sealing exchange opportunities with institutions of different cities. In particular, the Insubria delegation will visit Harvard, the Italian Embassy, the Supreme Court and the political authorities of the New York mayor. The trip will be monitored by VareseNews with constant updates on the various meetings. “We want to repeat the wonderful adventure of the trip to Japan in 2015 – said professor Giorgio Maria Zamperetti – where we brought the University of Insubria to meet the mayors of Hiroshima and Kyoto. Above all, we want to create opportunities for contacts and exchanges for our students.” All students of the Department of Law, Economics and Cultures will be able to apply, but applications from students in other Departments will also be considered. The 31 participants will be selected via interview. The fee paid by each student is set at €1.930. (Red)
