(22 March 2016) Matteo Markus Bok is a young Italian talent of 12, who arrived among the 6 finalists of “The Voice Kids” in Germany. Matteo was born in Italy to an Italian mother and a German father and has always lived in our country. Despite his young age, Matteo’s raw talent makes him a well-rounded performer: not only does he sing, dance and act, but is also a songwriter who has already written unpublished pieces. In Germany, Matteo is already experiencing a great success, considering the fact that “The Voice Kids” is one of the most watched TV programs in the country. Matteo amazed the entire audience and the judges with his rendition of “A chi mi dice” (Italian version of the song “Breathe Easy” by the boyband Blue), so much so that Lena, his coach, commented his performance and victory as “if it’s true that to win The Voice Kids you need to offer the complete package, ie stage presence, piercing eyes, the ability to portray emotions… all this would isn’t enough if there isn’t a great voice to support it all. And Matteo has it!”. The finale will be broadcast on Friday, March 25 at 8pm, on the German channel SAT1 (available in Italy at this link: http://oklivetv.com/sat-1-live/). Matteo, the only Italian selected to participate in the broadcast, is considered by the judges as a little flair able to reach all ranges of vocal tones and range from pop to melodic song. Given his talents, Matteo is always assigned challenging yet very rewarding tracks, such as “The Prayer”. (Red)
