(July 12, 2016). Once a month, every Thursday at 5.30 PM, Prof. Roellenbleck organises a lecture of a canto of the Divine Commedy at the Italian institute of Culture of Cologne: the next “Lectura Dantis” will take place on Thursday July 14th. The representation is promoted by the “Associazione degli Amici dell’Istituto” which, recognized as a collective interest’s association, supports the Italian institute of culture placed in Cologne in its numerous activities. While the Institute intends to present Italy and its culture under an Italian perspective, the Association wishes to develop and spread topics which are specifically linked to a German interest towards Italy: results of German research on Italian history and culture, German interpretations regarding Italian art and music, and aspects concerning relations between Italy and Germany. “Our primary aim –on the website of the Association – is to diffuse a complete and vivid image of Italy and to favour the interaction between Germans and Italians and the deepening of a mutual contact”.
