(July 12, 2016) The small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the Marches region present themselves in Iran: a Country which comes back to normality in the international relations after the end of the embargo and which offers great opportunities for italian companies. In these days is already taking place an economic mission of about 50 entrepreneurs of the Marches leaded by President Luca Ceriscioli, in collaboration with “Confindustria Marche”, the Chambers of Commerce of the Marches and the universities of Camerino and Macerata. In Teheran, the Italian Ambassador Mauro Conciatori and the economic and commercial representation, received President Ceriscioli and the delegation of the entrepreneurs of the Marches, and they talked a long about the perspectives and the problems of Iran and of the entire Asian region. Iranian media greatly emphasized the mission and also highlighted how, after the official meetings between the governments of both countries, this was the first mission which was not leaded by big companies, but rather by the SMEs’ system. The first day of work of the large delegation coming from the Marches took place in Teheran with institutional, economic and commercial meetings . Iranian authorities, which wanted to host the meetings at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy, presented the economic situation of the country specifying their needs and opportunities. The Marches represents a possible reference model in several sectors. “The relations built up in the last months, based on mutual understanding and trust – said Ceriscioli – make us reliable partners and it is in fact this relationship of estimate and fairness that allows us to start a new phase upon which construct lasting and fruitful collaboration relationships. I do not exclude that during this year it will be already possible to follow the path of this first meeting and set other events with the leading role of the entrepreneurs”.
