Tripoli – Italian Red Cross (CRI) and Migrant Aid Station Offshore (Moas) strengthen their joint mission to save as many human lives as possible on the most dangerous migratory route of the world, the Mediterranean Sea. With the support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the CRI has decided to redouble its efforts, by partnering with Moas, stepping onto both Phoenix and Responder ships. Most of the deaths at sea have occurred on the central Mediterranean route stretching from Libya to Italy, where the CRI and Moas carry out their search and rescue missions. (9Colonne)
