Hong Kong. Cinecittà Luce Institute and the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, with the support of the MiBACT – Film Board, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Consulate General in Hong Kong, the fifth edition of Cine Italian! – Cinema Italian Style in Hong Kong will take place until September 25. The festival will be held in the multiplex theatres at The Grand. Some of last year’s most representative Italian films will be shown. The screening of the Academy Award winner for best foreign film in 1990 and Giuseppe Tornatore’s masterpiece produced by Franco Cristaldi, the restored version of Nuovo Cinema Paradiso will enrich the experience of the event. To complete the selection is as Me and Her by Maria Sole Tognazzi – which will also be accompanied by a debate and a lecture for students – and “Perfect strangers” by Genovese, already acquired and soon to be distributed in Hong Kong’s cinemas. Other films that will be shown are “The Confessions” Roberto Andò, “Fast like the wind” by Matteo Rovere,”Suburra” by Stefano Sollima,”Flower” by Claudio Giovannesi, and “The Wait” by Piero Messina.
