(1 November, 2016) In the essay “L’idioma molesto” (the irritating language) (published by Nino Aragno), Burno Pischedda begins by focusing on the renowned writer Emilio Cecchi and then expands to a surprising pool of Jewish novelists and critics in conflict with themselves, Monseigneurs prone to intrigue. The novel examines journalistic headlines of the time, travel writing, conferences, personal letters, presenting itself as a sort of intellectual biography, an intransigent story that discovers the foundations of a discriminatory vision. The Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid is promoting the presentation of the book this November 3 at 19:30 in collaboration with the Librería los Editores. (Red)
