Brussels – The Department of Information Engineering, University of Parma is the leader of the new European project SAFERUN (Secure And Fast Real-Time Planner for aUtoNomous vehicles), coordinated by Corrado Guarino Lo Bianco, which has the aim of developing new methodologies for the control of industrial vehicles without operator. The project is part of the European program ECHORD ++ (The European Coordination Hub for Open Robotics Development), which promotes cooperation between robot manufacturers, researchers and end users.
