Brussels – “Planning the future of cross-border families: a path through coordination – EUFam’s” is a project coordinated by the Department of International, Legal, Historical and Political Studies of the University of Milan. It was recently awarded the European “Civil Justice Action grants 2014” amounting to €463.000. Coordinated by lecturers Francesca Clara Villata and Ilaria Viarengo, the project aims to measure the effectiveness – also with regard to the free movement of persons – of European regulations relating to rules of private international law regarding family, with the aim of identifying de jure condito and de jure condendo solutions to further strengthen protection for transnational families.
