London. Italy will also be a participant in this year’s ‘Ecobuild’. It is the largest fair in the United Kingdom devoted to sustainable construction, renewable energies and energy efficiency. It also represents a frame of reference for professionals of the sector such as project managers, plant engineers, and artisans. The next edition will be held in London’s ‘ExCel’ Exhibition Centre from 7 to 9 March, 2017. The 2016 edition saw 750 exhibitors and 33,319 visitors. This year, the focus will be on sustainability in the construction industry through new approaches in the planning, taking into consideration the biocompatibility of the construction sites in order to reduce impact on the environment. Sustainable construction is no longer a choice, but a must in order improve that quality of life, to reduce emissions and dependency on non-renewable energy.
