New York. The United States is the largest publishing market in the world and the home of the most important fair in the publishing industry of the country: The Book Expo America – BEA. It is a traveling exhibition which attracted more than 10,000 visitors and over 400 exhibitors from around the world in previous editions. This year, it will be held in New York City from May 31 to June 2. Italy has participated in the fair for several years and therefore Italian publishers can exhibit their work a joint stand set up by the ICE-agency for the promotion and the internationalisation of Italian companies, in collaboration with the IEA Italian Publishers Association.
