Toulouse – A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce of Matera upon invitation from the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie du Tarn attended a meeting organised by the eight transalpine chambers of commerce that constitute the French Mirabilia network – European network of UNESCO Sites- lead by the Chamber of Commerce of Matera. The collaboration with the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie du Tarn has been in place for a while and has lead to the realisation of several joint actions in the past with the significant presence of French tour operators in tourism grants of Perugia and Lipari in 2016 and 2017. The past few days in France have confirmed French interest in the Italian Mirabilia project, considered a particularly effective and innovative model that can trigger a complementary, integrated and extended offer compared to farther destinations, thus offering more opportunities for development of the constituent territories of the network.
