Caracas – “We hope that the crisis in Venezuela resolves with respect for human rights, including the political and civil rights of the opposition. Meanwhile, we have set up a plan to strengthen the assistance to around 150,000 Italians living in Venezuela, with the integration of a million euros in aid, first-aid supplies and medicines. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a difficult dialogue with the authorities in the country which currently deny the existence of problems”.
